The Investiture Ceremony was held on 25th July at Sacred Heart International School to encourage and kindle leadership qualities in our young prodigies.
The ceremony successfully inducted the newly elected and selected members of the school’s students’ council. It began by lighting the lamp which signifies the illumination of darkness through the light of education and continuous upward movement of the flame denotes a path of wisdom and divinity.
The newly formed Council – Head Boy and Head Girl along with the Discipline Prefect, Cultural Prefect, Hygiene Prefect, Sports Prefect, Jr.House Captains, Assistant Jr.House Captains and Class heads were honored by our respected Chief guest, Fr. Felix along with Ms.June, Ms.Simmie, the house teachers and class teachers. The students of grade 5, Abigail Francis and Shania Fernandes announced the names of the appointees who would take into their hands the reigns of responsibility. Ms. June administered the oath to the newly appointed Board of Students’ Council, who swore to serve with utmost sincerity and to the best of their abilities.
‘Motivation has a great impact on young minds’. Fr. Felix encouraged the students with his inspiring speech. To express the gratitude on behalf of the school, Athan Fernandes presented the vote of thanks. The program was concluded by singing the national anthem.
